I-140 still pending, need you advice

My I-140 was filed in September last year (EB3). No update on my case still. I did everything I could possibly do:
1. Contacted both senators' office by email, mail and phone. Never heard anything back. So I drove all the way to the senator's office, but I couldn't talk to the persons responsible for immigration issues in person. Both of them are out. Again, I left my cover letter and case detail there. Still no response.
2. Contacted local congressman's office. The representative did an inquiry on my case, got response from VSC. What they said is VSC has so many cases to be worked on, some cases do take a long time. They didn't give any explaination why my case took such a long time. Also the representative from the congressman's office is not willing to proceed any furthur. He told me to do nothing but wait.
3. Talked to my lawyer. He showed much sympathy on me. But what he can do is keep doing the case inquriy after 30 days.

What else can I do? I'm so desperate to have my case approved. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

have you tried to cal the 1800 line? another trick may be to do address change, which may trigger the processing of your case, especailly when they have been processing cases around that time frame.

I am not sure that this helps, but there is a strong opinion out there that many cases similer to yours are having their 140 and 485 processed together ( I think mine also is like that). If that is the case, your 140 would be processed only when 485 is ready for approval. There are a many threads with this info.
All de best!

Address Change has nothing to do with the approval. I already did address change, Fingure printing and nothing helped.

I agree with goose_doodle, they may approved both of them 140 and 485 all together, but only god know when.

Hope for the best,

Still many concurrently filling cases have been approved even though they were filed after ours. I don't know why our cases are treated differently. I don't care much about I-485, as long as I-140 is approved we will have a lot more flexibility.
My spouse got the FP notice about two weeks ago, scheduled on Oct, but I still haven't got mine (I am the primary applicant). I don't know if this is normal. Any idea?

I had tried every possible avenue. No positive answers from any side. It looks like once our application is struck at USCIS we need to wait for their mercy. No logical question would be answered by USCIS.
