I-140 Status Check Failed

Hi Friends,

I received receipt for my I-140 from my employer (scanned version). I can see the receipt number in the receipt. But when I search the same in USCIS web site for checking the status, its saying invalid receipt number.

I've seen several of you guys mentioning about the status of I-140. How can I check the status of my I-140, if I have receipt number.

I can check the status of my other receipts like 485,EAD,AP etc.

That should be same as with I-485 and others. Please give the website a day or two ... there maybe a system glitch ...
 
Well, i received it on Oct 13th and the notice date is Oct 12th in the receipt. So I guess its enough time.

Does any one else encounter similar issue ?? Here is the error.

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

* Case Status Retrieval Failed
* This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.
