I-140 RFE received: ask for degree evaluation

My employer, a large public university, received my RFE from TSC. They want evidence that my bachelors degree from a foreign institution is equivalent to a US degree. Now, I have to work hard on that.

I got the same RFE for 140 -- Educational Eval./ Ability to Pay ON Dec 9 th 2004.
I replied after doing Degree Evaluation on Jan 25 2005... I have not seen any change after the response or LUD change..

Did your employer receive the RFE? or the law firm? I'm asking this because I got an RFE too and the law firm hasn't received it yet...it's already 10 days :confused:

I heard RFE on Education Evaluation is pretty common and there's nothing to worry about. Once you send in your response you should be approved in a weeks time.

I have submitted a 'Degree Evaluation' along with I140 application/docs.
Is it still possible that they issue an RFE for degree eval??
 
Education RFE approved

Got degree evaluation RFE and asked for the resume of evaluator, even though we submitted on page evaluation. So we got the degree evaluated again from TrustForte and send in the response. Got both 140 and 485 approved after one week.
 
My employer received the RFE.

I don't have a lawyer. BTW, do I need only sending the evaluation letter from Trustforte? or, do I need send all my diplomas, transcripts to USCIS too. I have a master degree in the same field from a U.S. university.

A Suggestion

You gotta read the RFE carefully. In my case they asked for transcripts as well, so we also send the notarized copies of transcripts, actual diploma, high school and grade xii certifcate, evaluators resume, a cover letter just describing the response based on the RFE. You can mark each attachment as an exhibit and then refer to the exhibits in the cover letter. Also, since you dont have an attorney I would recommend reading the RFE carefully. Do not oversend the documents that are not asked, but cover all the questions on the RFE.
