I-140 RFE and EAD Renewal ?? Help ??

I got RFE on I-140 and my first EAD expires in 4 months. Is it a good time or OK to apply for EAD Renewal while I-140 is in RFE stage.

-----> If you want to save money then E-filing is the best. But EAD Renewal via E-Filing takes little longer time than paper/manual submission.

In term of I-485 based EAD renewal, between RFE received and waiting for decision after reply to RFE, it is OK; between appeal (if they deny your I-140) and final decision, it is not OK, however, if the EAD doesn't expire, it is still valid, you just can not renew it after you appeal.
