I-140 Redo

I got an RFE for I-140 Redo on OCT 9th. My lawer is in process of sending the response to this RFE. I have a question if we send new I-140 applicaton in response to RFE do we get a receipt notice for I-140 or Just they approve the I-140 and I-485 aprooval together without sending any recipt notice.

FP :06/01/2000
RFE DT: 10/09/2000.

Can somebody please explain me how this I-140 REDO works.

I had sent my 140 redo papers last week. There are numerous postings on this topic. Do a search to find out. Someone got the receipt for 140 while somone did n\'t get yet. I\'m still waiting for the 140 receipt. From earlier postings, it seems like they approve 140 and then 485. People have waited for months (in some cases few days) after 140 approval while 140 approval itself seems to take 3 weeks.
