i-140 receipt

On May 23 the lawyer sent in my I-140 to the TSC. I asked for a receipt number yesterday and he said that the INS has not sent the receipt with the case number yet. Is this type of delay typical?
 
You should have got the receipt no. by now. Its over 2 months and very unusual. Ask your attorney to follow up with INS.
I also filed my I-140 the same time (May 20'02) and got my receipt in the month of June'02.
Speak and put pressure on yr Attorney. I duuno why Attorney's over here give hard time to the Clients.
