My employer filed the I-140 for me about 2 weeks ago. It been about 10 days since the TSC received it. However the employer did not get the receipt notice yet. Is this normal? Anyone else in this forum who received the Receipt notice recently? Is the delay normal?

DON't Worry. I got my receipt after 15 days or so. Rather check your bank statement or online if you do, that if the checks u made to "immigration services" are debited from your account or not. if the check for I-140 fee is debited from your bank then dont worry at all . That itself is some sort of proof that USCIS received ur application.

Receipts

My attorney said they mailed the 140, 485, AP, EAD applications by overnight on 04/05, but TSC receipts say they were received on 04/26, and the attorney got the reciepts in the first week of June.

It's been over 2 weeks my employer did not get the I-140 receipt notice. Even the check has not been cashed.

Fedex tracking shows it was delivered to USCIS and not lost in transit.

Any suggestions? I am waiting for the I-140 receipt notice so I can file my AOS. I have another 4 months on my h-1 .

Any more individual I-140 filers in this board????

I have sent my I-140 (I did separate filing of I-140) application twice...

First time I mailed it on June2nd 2004 and it was accepted in TSC on the 3d and I received back ALL my documents on the June 9th. They found the mistake in my I-140 form, that's why they sent all the application back to me. Check was not cashed and arrived to me with all the documents.

I filled in the form and sent them back the documents same day June 9th and they got it June 10th. Check was cashed today june 16, 2004. Hope to get notification letter soon.

So it took me a while to file the application form. But check was cashed shortly aftre my second filing.
