I-140 question

Background about my case:
EB3 concurrently filed in july 2004.
received RFE's for I-140 and 485 in nov 2004.
responded to RFE's in dec 2004.

Information about my company:
Working for the Company A for past 4 years
Company A was bought by company B in nov 2004.

RFE for I-140 requested information about company B. which we submitted in dec 2004. I received a new receipt for I-140 yesterday with receipt date of feb 17th and notice date of feb 18th.

My questions are
1. why did i get new receipt number for I-140?
2. Is my old I-140 invalidated?
3. When processing my case will they consider receipt date of old I-140 or new I-140?

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

I am presonally clueless on this one. I would suggest talking to a lawyer regarding this. Also try to post this question on all of the 140 forums. I am sure someone will have an answer for you.
