I-140 Processing @ VSC

It seems like the speed with which I-140 EB3s were being approved has slowed down. Although the dates have moved pretty fast in the past few months, I don't see many approvals past march/april 2004.

My ND is 5/5/04 EB3. No word on my application yet.

I-140 hindered by H1 processing?

All I can think of as the reason for the delay is that the H1 cases for fiscal year 2005 are being worked on right now. Maybe that has delayed EB I-140 processing. Remember that the latter sped up back in March when they finished processing H1s for fiscal year 2004.

If this is the case, then the good news is that the H1 quota for 2005 will likely run out some time in October.
