I-140 processing time at NSC for EB-1 OR

Just wanted to know the I-140 processing time at NSC for EB-1 OR category. From the posts on this forum, it appears that NSC is a bit slow, but was wondering about the timeframe for I-140. Is 4 to 6 months a reasonable time on average to expect a decision/RFE from NSC ?
Please provide your inputs.

4 -6 months is reasonable to assume things get done to decision!!!!

I don't think so.

Per official processing times on USCIS website, NSC is now processing September 28 2005 (11 months behind), and that date did not change for the last few updates.

I was also hoping to get I-140 decision within 3-4 months, but it is now 9 months and no news at all. I submitted to VSC in November 2005 and got transferred to NSC in May 2006.

Maybe you'll be more lucky, but I won't bet on it.

Thanks for your replies eb1doc, dzxing.

dzxing, luck is indeed a big factor -- few of my colleagues who applied around Sept. 2005 got their 140 approvals within 3 months from VSC. NSC will be a whole new experience when I file in September this year.
Hoping for the best !

Will appreciate if anyone else can share their EB-1 OR experiences at NSC.

good luck

I feel the cases in NSC are much faster than in VSC. The officers in VSC did not touch my case within the first 8 months.

Please see my signature.

EB2, NIW, from VSC to NSC.
I-140 and I-485 RD: 09/27/2005,
I-140 and I-485 transfered from VSC to NSC on 5/11/06,
I-140 RFE sent on 6/1/06; I-140 RFE received by USCIS on 8/3/06
I-140 approved on 8/10/06,
I-485 pending.

I was pretty lucky with NSC.

I-140 (EB1 - OR) - Industry
RD – 09/29/05
AD – 11/18/05 (no RFE)
Also had NIW along with OR, on which I had got a RFE that was not replied as OR got approved.

I also got the cards today, after 485 was approved. U can see my post in 485 section.
