I too agree with a2kgc, I feel very sorry for the people who are waiting from 12-16 months. But this year atleast I am seeing some approvals. I may be totally wrong... But compared to 2004 I am seeing atleast some approvals.. But your never know.. I am desperately waiting for Premium Processing of 140. My attorney told me that they may take a decision to go or not togo on this in April... also some websites recently mentioned about the same.. I checked the federal document and there is a task on their todo list .. which is premium processing for 140.. and final decision will be in April..a2kgc said:You are right .. but this scenario was in 2004. But after jan 2005 , looks like NSC has sped things and lately we are so many approvals till the month of june 2004 in our forum. If you check out immigrationwatch.com, we can see approvals till jan2005.For each and every month, minimum of 25% of applications have been approved. Which is a great thing to know .. atlast NSC guys are awake and are working!!!
Lets hope it doesn't take 12-16months for clearing 140 during this year too..
Frankly I dont rely on the data with immigrationwatch.. If you look at the numbers for December 2004.. As per IW.. the total number of applications received are 977 and out which 217 have been approved.. it means in the month of december, jan until feb 14 did they approve 209 I-140s.. I doubt it..snafu said:The following is based on immigrationwatch.com.
