I would appreciate if any one could tell me what I-140 proactive ammendement means and when it is done.I am presently working for a client
who is interested in me .Ihave filed my 1485 a year back and am keen to join my client, and leave the consultancy work which I am doing now.Earlier my client was interested only in green card holders, but now they are ready to pick up process fresh H1b GC.My client is hiring in a big way and I was wondering if I could do a I-140 with the present client and continue my GC as my present employer will not cancel my GC.I have very little time as many of my colleagues have already decided to join as fresh H1b,and I have not responded because of my present situation,though it is very tempting.I want to know if I can join the client with EAD and do a simultaneous I-140 redo in case I get RFE later on.
