I-140 Pending - November 2004 Cases

Hi Gurus..

Mine is EB3/labor substitution concurrent filing in Vermont Center. My 140 is applied in November 2004 and I did not see any update on my case till now.
The USCIS processing dates update says that they are processing March 05 cases. Even cases applied very recently are approved. I'm wondering why my case is still pending?

Gurus.. please tell me.. Is it subjected for concurrent adjudication? Or can I expect approval after my FP which is scheduled next week? Do I need to ask my employer to follow it up with USCIS?

Please share your stories if you are in similar situation..

Wtg4gc,we both are in same boat and almost same date

I filed my 140/485 on :11/10/2004.My 140 not approved as of today.My employer did expediate resquest one week ago.Nothing happened on my case.

There are Lud's for 3 days on 140 in Feb'2005.After that nothing happened.

It seems all Nov. 2004 applicants are in bad luck. Any one who file in Nov. 2004 get approved, please?
 
I gpt response on my expedite raquest from USCIS

GUYS,

I got response from employer.They got response from USCIS on my 140.

USCIS simply mentioned "It is under processing"

My employer expedite letter sent by fax twice and by fedex once.We got response today after one month.

I know it is under processing.My question is why it was delayed?.They didn't tell proper reason.

Did you get written response? My lawer sent 2 inquiry in the past 2 months, and he told me USCIS should sent written response in 30 days, although I have not hear anything yet.

Anyway, "under processing" is not a bad one. Hope we all see approval soon.

Yes,i got written response today after one month.

I think we don't expect much information on expedite request.This is just our moral satisfaction.
 
Folks,

My FPs are done May 12th and May 15th I saw LUD on 485. Since then there is no update on anything - neither 485 message nor on 140. I dont know whats happening..

I thought, once the FP is done, 485 message would change to "FPs received and Processing resumed" and trigger some thing to see a response on I140.

After two weeks done my FPs, I get "FPs received" message, but my husband did not get any update, although we did FP at the same day. They are never consistant. But you could call them to follow up after 60 days, although my lawer suggest not call.
 
I got response for inquiry too

It said that my case is with an adjudications officer to review.
What is that mean? Does the officer has obligation to make decision in a certain amont of time? Anyone have a idea?

I got following response from USCIS

Guys,

I got following response on my expedite request on my 140.

"We requested information from other office.Once we got the information,we will adujudicate your case."

I don't know what information they requested from other office.

Thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!My I-140 is approved on Jun 18th. Got the approved email without any RFE response updates. I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS APPROVAL. I CHECKED MY MAIL 3-4 times and the phone too.

You are the first one (which filing in Nov. 2004)I saw got approved recently. congratulations. Hope all Nov. filingers get approved soon. Did you raise any inquiry about your case or called VSC? Thanks for sharing.
 
I just received an emails (more than 10) from USCIS with same content - about RFE on my 140. It says they have mailed out a letter requesting more evidence. Hmm.. a big disappointment !

I wonder why did I get 10 emails and couple of them are from CRIS [USCIS-SRMT@dhs.gov] - any body received RFEs from that ID?

Since they sent 2 emails for each RFE, they may ask for multiple RFE.
I would be happy to see RFE, at least it indicate that the case is in active status, instand of holding on the shelf. Just be patient waiting for the letter and you will see approval soon after RFE.

I have no idea about CRIS. Anyone else?

atleast you got some response.Please let us know once you got RFE details.

So,i will also prepare according that.

Lot of times they will approve within 2 weeks of replying for RFE.If you reply immediately,you will get approved by mid of July.

Hope for the best.Most probably RFE's for w2's,paystubs,company finacial documents,Nothing much.As long as you are working with GC sponsering company you just relax.
 
Multiple RFE? I received a total of 13 emails in which 3 are from CRIS. If you take 2 emails for each RFE then I have received at least 5 RFEs on 140. Thats a lot to answer and get the approval ! So, I should stop counting on approval...

Any body has similar experience, I mean 2 emails for each RFE -
