I-140 pending: Can I still apply for I-485?

Hi,

My priority date is Dec. 5, 2005 and hopefully, if the trend remains the same, will be current in the June 2006 visa bulletin (EB1-aliens with extraordinary ability).
Now my question is, if my I-140 is not approved till then, can I still file for I-485 or do I have to wait till my I-140 approval.
If I can apply for I-485 before the approval of I-140, can I simultaneously apply for EAD and AP also?
Can I apply for my wife's EAD and AP (she's on H4 right now) along with her I-485?

Provided your PD or EB1 is current in June, you can file for I 485 without the approval of I 140. That is called concurrent filing.

You can file EAD/AP/485 together for you and your derivative i.e. spouse.
