All of you, whose I-140 is past 300 days, can u plzz respond
with your dates ( ND, AD, category etc. ) ?

Mine will be 300 + in a few days.

This is bcoz I seriously think that just like every other information,
the message of 90-300 days that INS ( BCIS ) has posted
for our I-140's is a pure hogwash. Its a typical case of
moving goalposts. I interpret 300 days by multiplying it with
what I call the INS factor ( its 1.5, which means 300 days is
, in actuality, 450 days )

And also, any idea what we could to at this stage ?

And plzz.. people like Sanga ( and his cronies' coterie ) who
seem to know all the inner workings of INS, plzz don't
respond. None of us really want to hear stuff when we all know
that you know nothing, just like everybody else. Let's come
up with pragmatic, concrete course of action that we may
resort to.

Exactly ..

That's exactly what we could discuss here....what could we
do ? After 300 days the message will be changed to 500
days ..and then to 700 days.. and by the time they change it
to 900 days, the world will become a diff place and all
of us would have been rejected..right ?

Basically seeking ideas from all of you in that quagmire....

If each of us is waiting for others to give ideas, then we
have what we call the "Dining Philosophers Problem".. a
perfect deadlock.. don't we ?

:)

OR........

OR. they are resigned to fate and destiny...accepted defeat from
the jaws of potentially what could be their victory..:)

i guess pretty much everything is stopped ( i mean processing ). goverment does not have any monies.

there only possible solution is to introduce a premium processing, i.e. some hefty fee of 5,10,20K, whatever is going be enough for them to process i140/i485 alltogether in 2 months or something like this.

That would be a very decent revenue generator ( very easy monies ) for the goverment and hopefully they may like this idea.
Propably it is good idea to start communicating with state governers who are serious red in budget. for example major of NYC ( Bloomberg ) is businessman, he may like this idea.

to avoid effects on other (non-premium) applications, INS officers can be asked to work overtime for some sweet 500$/hour. I think they would not mind to put an extra 5 hrs a day for a long time for that hour rate.

I don't think anything else can work

~~~ stinker
cant agree more
At last here's someone who seems to get the idea,
while countless others whine and crib and weep.
What can WE as a group do to help ourselves ?
Aren't there at least 1000-2000 of us who are in limbo bcoz of all this ? Can't we raise $ 10-20 million put together ? Can't we make the gesture of contributing to INS in lieu of faster processing ?
I agree something needs to be done, VSC does not seem to be processing I-140 applications as compared to other service centers. I definately do not mind paying additional money to get my I-140 approval, I also beleive things revolve around BCIS not having the funds to hire resources to adjudicate these cases. First we were waiting for TPS cases to be done with, now that that is finished what are these guys working on?
I was told by attorney etc. that nothing can be done and I hate to hear those words. It makes me feel very helpless, I grew up with the notion that there is always a way to get things done and INS/BCIS is proving that wrong......
Just for your info.
Hi Guys.
I post my case here just for your info. though it might be a bad news for me.
EB1, self-petition, ND 03-29-02
I485/I765/I131 filed on Feb. 12, no receipt yet.
I checked the on-line status. A RFE was mailed on March 10. I have not received yet. I am not sure if they are prossessing the end of March cases now or because I filed I485.
