Hi, I got my PERM approved and getting ready to file the I-140 myself. My only question is on part 6.8, is this a new position?. This is the situation: technically, it is not, because I am currently working in this position as a "Development Engineer", "BUT" my current situation is H1-B, and even though the "Company's" job title under H1-B and the PERM are the same, the DOL Occupation Title are different: for H1-B I got the DOL title "Computer Programmer", and for the PERM I got the DOL title "Electronics Engineers/Except Computer".
SUMMARY: H1-B and PERM "DOL" Occupation titles are different, but the company's job title (and the one that figures on my resume) are the same.
Is this a new position? Y/N ?
