I-140: Part-4 Box#6

Dear All,

Thanks for all of your help relating to my several questions about EB2-NIW cases. I e-filed my I-140 (EB2-NIW) yesteday. Do we have a A# now?

Today, I am going to submit a separate I-140 for my wife (EB2-NIW, since I-140 will be evaluated based on the individual's credentials and possibly increase the chance).

In the Part-4 Box#6, there is a question that "Has any immigrant visa petition ever been filed by or on behalf of this person?" I have included my wife in my I-140 (Part-7), but it is my petition.

You will get an A# with your I-140 approval notice.

Your wife did not file anything yet... Her name is in your I-140, that's it! It does not mean anything for her. I guess you did not file an I-1485 for you and another one for her yet, right?

No, I have not submitted I-485 for me or her yet.

Following your suggestion, I think, I will put "no" in that box.
