I 140 Issue - Need Advise

Hello

I have a potential problem. My lawyer received call from Texas INS officer asking for my W2 for 2002 and 2003 and last 3 pay stubs. Problem is I took sometime off from work in 2002 and 2003. So my wages in W2 is less than that in my labor application. Can you please advise me how to proceed. There is no change in I 140 msg on my case portfolio so far.

if it is for I140 i think u can better gothrough the UNITED NATIONS suggestions (in this forum ..)..

My Labor was filed in 2002, late 2003 my labor approved and we applied for 140 and 485 at that point my w2 figures were lesser than what was in the labor cert(not much <10%). My 140 and 485 approved recently. So I guess its ok if the difference is not much. Did you not send your w2s and paystubs when you applied for your 140 and 485? If not then maybe they just want to make sure you work for the company and its not to look at the figures.

Thats great, thats the only thing scares me in my case as in my w2 figures it is about 14% less than specified in Labour. (now its reduced to 11%). but hey! its great if there in no RFE and approved without any problem.
