I just checked and found that for Jan05 month only 88 approvals from California and there are lot from Vermont, Texas for the same period, also I am constantly saw vermont approval for each month above 200 from last 6-8 months.
Dont know why California having problems, we might have to do petition for I-140 for California.

Thanks,

EB3 I-140 RD -09/19/03 still no rfe, nothing.

Hi All,
I didn't see much I-140 approvals in 2005, initially thought it would be good in 2005 but it seems 2005 also going slow.
My case is of 2003 and last inquiry reply additional system checks and pending review, seriously in CA service center there is something wrong going on.
i think for I-140 in CA it will take 2-3 years.

Thanks,

rb180, i totally agree with you. 140 processing was really fast till 2 months back. Suddenly looks like CSC has almost stopped processing 140s.

checking number of approved cases

Hi guys,
Can you tell me how you come to know how many cases each center is processing every month?
I just see the current processing dates.

When can get 140 approved ?

Hi,
I haven't even applied for my I140 yet , but my labor will get approved most likely in 1 or 2 months from california ? i am not sure how the PD etc work , can someone please enlighten me?
I am not sure if anyone can hypothise but when can i expect my I140 to get approved in a best case scenario?
I applied for my labor in may 2002 ? is that my priority date, does the retrogession or anything that i have been hearing about would have any material effect on the same?

Hi rsdighe,
Your priority date is the date when labor was filed. in your case your priority date is may 2002. retrogession may or may affect you on your 1485 case but not on 140. If there are enough filed applicants ( i think number is 10,000) with priority date before yours, you will not be able to file 485. but you should be fine for 140.

hope it helps

hello guyz
I can see in the website that CSC is doing June 7 2005 for 140s.
Are they posting some fake date there? or is it real?
thanks
babu.
