I-140 interview at local office ?????

Dear Members:
Strange situation with my case. On Aug 17 2005 the 140 application has been transferred to Dalls Office for interview ???????.
Whats happening with TSC ?????
Any body has this sort of exp, pls post.
Here is online message on 140:

On August 17, 2005, we transferred your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER to our office in DALLAS, TX for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in DALLAS, TX will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I am pretty sure that 140s are not approved at local offices. Correct me if I am wrong but I think you are the same person whos 485 has been approved after interview but the 140 is still pending. I am not sure what to tell you. I think the TSC is just not correcting the situation and your case is being sent all over the place. I guess you can go to the local office in Dallas and inquire about what is going on.

I can uderstand your frustration. Your case like mine has been so badly handled by the TSC. Sometimes I feel like we should sue them for neglect and abuse.

Yes, I-140 cannot be approved by the local office. I think they may have questions on your case for which the local office cna interview you. After that, they will transfer your case back to TSC and your approval will have to be done there.

Per the reforms passed in late 1990s, the local offices cannot approve I-140s. They can do only I-130s (for spouses after marriage, family-based, etc.)
 
485 interview attended in JAN 2005

I am not sure whats TSC and Dallas Office are doing with 140 application.
I have attended AOS interview on JAN 11 05 and still waiting.
Any how I do not have any faith in American Immigration System and lost hope with this process.

Don't worry and panic by just reading online status,

I believe no need to worry, TSC has already transfered ur 485 and as u shared u apeared for intw, what TSC didn't do is they couldn't tranfer ur 140 that was sitting on their shelf, and when they learned they did,

Becz ur case is already in local officer and they already have ur 485 intw no further intw would be called. just relax and wait for Oct when visa no become available you would have good news, again DO NOT WORRY about intw.

I have seen worst case to get appvd form local office even from SR country, u don't need to worry about it,

Don't panic and relax, practice ur faith, and pray, everything will be fine :D .

All I am asking the TSC to approve my 140 and I am not sure why they are holding the 140 till OCT 2005 ????.
As per the Mr. William Yates memo (Dated Dec 29 2004) the 140 and 485 are different and TSC can approve the 140 if 485 is not ready for approval.
So what I understand that TSC does not care about any memos with in USCIS ?????

Your interview deatil shows u all set :D , when they would receive I-140 they would approve you without intvw, and even ur card willl be mail since they already have done ur biometrics.

wait for Oct.

I-140 approved at last.
Online msg for 485 is atransferred to DDO on 10/19/2005.
I am not sure if I need to attend one more interview and I think only USCIS can answer this.
