I-140 inquiry by Senator

Hi UNO,
I am thinking about contacting senator's office for my pending I-140 (08/04) which is few months past due now and USCIS has discontinued concurrent processing in Dec/04. At least we should have approved I-140s to use AC21 portability option. What you gurus think, senator's office will be of any help for pending I-140???

I asked my company people to start an enquiry on my 140 and they went throught Senator's office and I got the approval in less than 10 days after someone from Senator's office called INS. You will get approval very fast if you go through senator's office.
