Hello

Is it true ?

I 140 and I 485 processing time depends on which country you are from

I 140 and I 485 processing time does not actually tally INS web site , some cases does get approval before

Once I 140 gets approved I 485 also gets approval

I just heard these

Thanks

1. With all priority dates current, I485 adjudication times do not in theory vary on your nationality. That's supposed to be the official position.

2. If you filed and I140 and I485 concurrently, expect your I140 to be adjudicated first. USCIS is currently processing I140s from receipt dates between March-May (depending on the category). Employment based I485s are taking around 2 years.

3. If your I140 or I485 is approved (or any peition), USCIS does a pretty good job of updating their website (in my experience).

If you want to see what NSC processing times are for your cateogory, check out this link:

Priority day

Sadiq,

I have a question regarding point 1. Although my RD is 1/9/2003, my PD is back in 5-02. Does it have aby effect on expected approval date? On line and phone messages are saying 570-600.
Any thoughts?

Thanks,

PD - is a dates which was used to file your I485 when it was not in CURRENT for your country. But currently for every country it is CURRENT - as for as I know PD is not going to speed up your I485 approval - I485 processing is based on your RD & ND.

Hope this helps.
