Hi,

My friend has a huge problem as his lawyer - based on what it is written in the instruction to I-140 - sent the I-140/I-485 concurrent filing to Texas. Now my friend found the web site where they state that all concurrent filings should be sent to Nebraska.

Has anyone of you had the same problem?

Is it a big problem - can USCIS send the documents back or they will transfer the case to Nebraska?

Any help appreciated. Thank you.

not a big problem at all. your friend shouldn't frick out. there is two possibilities:

1) they forward the package to the appropriate office within immigration.

2) they send back the package to the lawyer without processing and s/he can remail it to the right address
