I work for company A.
Company A has a service agreement with Company B. Now Company B wants to hire me and have extended a job offer.
My labor is cleared and I am awaiting my I-140/I-485 which were filled concurrently. All the immigration stuff has been filled by Company A. I have already got my EAD and AP.
Luckily, Company A and Company B are sister concerns, so all the involved parties are on board and no one has any objections.
Ideally I would like to join Company B, however do not want to jeopardise my GC application.
So what are my options? I can think of 2 and would like some feedback from the experts out here
Option 1 - Company B hires me as a contractor from Company A. So I remain on Company A's payroll.
Option 2 - I work for both Company A and Company B (using my EAD). So I am on the payroll of both Companies.
any thoughts?
