I-140/I-485 concurrent filing

HI, guys

I have a question about the concurrent filing I-140/I-485. My attorney told me that I still can file both at the same time now (I mean after Sep 31). But I am reading that this law only works in Aug and Sep. Is that true?

If anybody has any inf about this, Please tell me

No restictions...!! Just Apply it.

Where did you read it ?. Where ever you did, its not correct. There is no time limit and that law is not just for August 02 and September 02. You can file I-140/I-485 at any time after the law is signed on July 31st 2002. So don't waste any time and hurry it up and file it ASAP.

My lawyer filed my I-140 petition (EB2-NIW) in July (ND = 7/19/02) the concurrent filing law was signed on July 31st 2002.

My Q is : Is it possible for me to file a I-485 (with EAD and AP ) with my receipt of I-140 petition(current case status : pending) or am I ineligible?

Two I140 Pending and I-485 filing

Hi,

I have two I140 pending (one by myself, one by lawyer), and the lawyer is preparing the I-485 filing with one of the I140 receipt. My question is that what if the I140 I filed by myself got approved while I485 pending?

I filed 485/EAD 100 days after I filed I-140. My I-140 is still pending. So go ahead and file the papers with the I-140 receipt.............:D
