I have been watching this forum in the past one year every day. Thanks to everyone who shares his/her experience here and those good news really ecouraged me.

Today, I'm very glad to share my good news:

I140: RD 10/16/2003 ND 10/20/2003
Approve date: 10/21/2004

I485: RD 10/16/2003 ND 10/20/2003
Approve date: 10/22/2004

Got the approval email of I140 last night at around 11:45pm and got very excited. Waited a whole day today, and the I485 approval email arrived at 7:45pm. My husband's I485 approval hasn't come yet, still waiting....

This is a EB2 RIR case. Starting the labor in Oct. 2002 (when the company put the ad.), and the whole process took two years.

This coming Sunday is my birthday, and this is the best gift I have ever got. :)
 
The finger print was done on 01/30/2004. And the finger print results were returned back to USCIS on Feb.10 and the cases were resumed. The online message never changed after Feb.10, until approval.

How do you know the FP results were returned on FEb 2004..

my date and you rdate is just 5 days difference and I did Fp at an earlier date in Dec 29 2003..

I have the exact same profile as yours. Started labour in Oct 2002. EB2 RIR in NC. Did a concurrent filing on I-140 and I-485 WITH AN RD of Oct. 17TH 2003. FP on 01/30/04. FP received on 03/3/2004.

On 10/21 the date of your Approval, I got an RFE (bad luck!). By any chance did you get any RFEs?

Get your Infopass appointment for each I485 petition rightaway. Don't wait for the approval notice to arrrive in snail-mail. Congratulations!!

Hi, PoorMan

Why do I need to get the appointment rightaway? Is it because it is quite difficult to make the appointment?

My husband's case hasn't been approved yet, and since Charlotte is quite far away from I'm living, I'm thinking of waiting until his approval, so we can go together. ( Is there a time-frame on the approval notice, such that I have to get the passport stamped within the time-frame?)

Yes, if your husband's I-485 is not approved, I think it is better to wait. Depending on the location, some times it is very difficult to get appoinments for every family member in a desired hour. Good luck!
