I-140 Filed on May 2004

Hi All,
I got filed my I-140 & I-485 CUNCURRENT on 25th May 2004 and still it's in pending and when I spoke with my attorney last month he told he came to know from USCIS customer service like my case went for security and they asked him to call again after 6 months. what does it mean? if you anything about it, please help me?

You are not alone in this ordeal. We have a group of people who are stuck with this.I also got the same letter around 4 mths back.
 
concurrent filing - specify your category

Hi GCRam,

Please specify your category whether it is EB 1/2/3

if it is security check, it is a good idea to contact Senator and Congressman.
 
My case filed in April'04 under EB2 category concurrently 140 & 485.Still both are pending.My attorney initiated enquiry and we got the same letter what you got.

I had a question for the people on the thread. Did you all use translated documents like birth certificate from any other language to english. Is there a chance, that is reason for our delay?
 
security Check for I-140

Here is the USCIS policy for what kind of check for each catagory of application (appendix C). It seems I-140 only do IBIS check, same to EAD and AP. Then why you guy already got AP and EAD but still stuck in I-140?

One question? If there any LUD in your I-140 before or after it was stucked?

Do you mean your EAD and AP were delayed? It seems you finally got them.

Did you receive LUD when the I140 was stucked? Except those triggered by inquiry.

I should update my signature. I did apply for my second ead and AP and those got stuck
