I-140 filed back in Feb 27, but not yet getting a WAC#

My company lawyer said he filed my I-140 back in Feb 27. But I have not received any ref#, WAC#, nor confirmation yet. I called the lawyer, but he just told me to wait.

Does anyone have a similar situation ?
Or does anyone know what else I can do ?

My lawyer has filed my I-140 4 months ago in California and its being reviewed all that time by an inspector without giving me any feed back. The inspector has asked to submit more info about my company which I did. I work for a public company traded on Nasdaq. I have no idea about any time frame that this individual inspector will finish with this review. I have an L1 visa and I have started the process one year ago. I thought coming with an L1 it will make it a short process. How can I track my I-140 and how could I know when its going to proceed ? What can I do ?
