can any body let me know if they have received Receipt for I-140 Filed After Oct 25th VSC .

My case was also filed in the same time period and waiting for the receipt number. I called my attorney yesterday, he said it is taking little longer to get receipt numbers for I-140. I don\'t know why !

My I-140 was approved on 15th Nov. I heard the message today.

I donot know if the approval is AOS or CP. How can I find out. Actually when I checked with NVC with my I-140 EAC #, I am hearing a message which says that documents will be sent to my attorney in 4 to 6 weeks - what does this mean.

Can someone please tell me. I am very anxious to know.

sw28 i did not get my receipt ,but my check is Cleared!

I got my EAC number and ND from the top of the Check.
I mailed my Package on 24th Oct.
My ND : 11/13/01
 
My lawer got the Fedex receipt

Hi,

My lawer got the Fedex Receipt but did not get the CAC number yet.
My I-140 pakage was received by INS on 26th Oct. Have any clue how long it may take to get EAC number?
 
Did not get the receipt but check got cleared today.

I-140 received by INS on 11/14/01 (as per the UPS receipt) and the check got electronically cleared today. Contacted the bank but they still don\'t have check in "physical" form and hence no information about the EAC-... number.

Receipt after Oct 25th

Yes. my I-140 was on 26th october and I rececvied receipt in the second week of November

I got the reciept from the Lawyer today. I am sure he must have got it last week.

It took nearly 4 weeks for the reciept.

My I-140 was received by INS on 10/26.
Still didn\'t get the receipt.
Any reason why?

 Mine was sent on oct 22 and took about 4 weeks. so you should be getting it anytime now. Also in the meantime you can find ur EAC no. from the check. ButI think u should give it another week. Hope that helps.

My check got cleared on Nov 29 !
Still waiting for Receipt ?

When called on AVM it says \'Unable to find case info ... want to speak to operator

Why is so?.
I dialed 603 334 0700.
