I-140 processing times when amendment is filed

Hello All,

My company applied I-140 for me in month of Oct 2006 and received case number. Recentley my company has been taken over by another company and new company would like to apply for "successor of interest" (I-140 amendment) in this week.

Would it be considered as new I-140 application and will I get approval two months later compared to the first case? Will I get new case number?

Please let me know at the earliest...

I-140 approved

Hello All,

My I-140 is approved in one and half months. I was planning to apply for premium by paying from my pocket.

PD March 2005
Labor approved: August 14, 2006
I-140 applied Oct 24, 2006 at TSC
I-140 approved Dec 14, 2006

My company will be acquired by another big corporation on Dec 18, 2006. New company will file for I140 amendement next week.

My 8th year extention is due on Jan 15, 2007(expires on July 15 2007). Though my amendment I-140 is not approved, I will still get 3 year extension based on today;s I-140 approval. Is that correct?
