I-140 Expediate Response from USCIS

HI Guys,,

Made expediate request on my I-140Jun03 which is pending from last 2 Yrs (VCS) Got message "The processing of your petition/application has been delayed. We are awaiting further information from another office to assist us in the final adjudication of this case. As soon as this information is received, processing will continue on this case"

My finger printing is cleared , also got response from FBI ( name check is done ). I don't knw what for thy are waiting..Can any one tell me, what shall I do now ?

Anyone had same problem... please let me know

AILA and Congressman

I cannot believe that your 140 has been pending for so long. This process never ceases to amaze me. Anyway at this point I think you should get your lawyer to start a AILA inquiry and it is also time to get your local congressman or senator invloved. Write letters to them explaining your situation and they will be able to find out what the delay is. This might get the service center to approve your case. Do not waste anymore time waiting for these incompetent people to approve your case, you have to MAKE them approve it.

I made 3 times senator inquiry , 2 times congressman inquiry...... Response I got from senator and congressman was it is concurrent process , both I-140 and I-485 will processed togother.. I tried to explain them thy have terminated concurrent.. But no success.

Now my company is in process of changing Lawyer.. I m stuck.. Last time when I had talk with USICS customer service, thy told me my lawyer name is not on I-140, so lawyer can't make any inquiry.. I don't how and why my lawyer name was not thr on file... My Old lawyer made 2-3 times AILA inquiry but no response from them...

Do you think it s stuck becs of IbIS check ?

they responded within 3 weeks. I Faxed it to Paul Novak, Director of VCS, got reply from them. I don't knw what thy need information from other office. I guess thy mught be requesting Original Labour from DOL.

can you give me ur case detail ?
