Although I have several years of experience, I was not confident of my petition getting through particularly after reading rejected case files from USCIS as they look for "outstanding achievements". But I am happy it did got through.
here are my qulifications...
I hired an attorney to help prepare my I-140.
Ph.D in Engineering from top indian institute
10 years of research and teaching experience (3 years in US)
journal publications -- 9 published, 5 under review/print
conference - 16 presentations
citations -- did not show since it is only a few
awards --only one - graduate merit scholarship award (mentioned in reference letter)
references - 7 of which 6 (with whom I have had interaction/worked), 1 independent.
Reviewing journal papers -- 5 (attached copies of e-mail)
Professional membership - 2 regular membership, attached letters from them and downloaded about the society.
waiting to file I-485 once PD becomes current...
