I-140...denial chance

hi all
my notice date for both I-140 and I-485 is 11/6/2003 in Nebraska center
I haven't add my wife name when I filed both..
now I want to include,but my lawyer is saying..now a days they are rejecting 3 years degree applications(i have 3yrs and 2 yr PGdiploma).
so they will file my wifes 485 after getting approval of I-140..(I donno when its going to happend)

How far its true about denial of I-140?
My lawyer filed both with educational evaluation.
iam worrying about this stuff.
I got EAD,AP and fingerprints..and EAD,AP are will expire in Dec..
I have to renew them also..
plz give me some info about my issue..

They can approve 140 and 485 simulteniously and you will be in big trouble
