I jonied a company. They had an approved labor matching my skills and experience. They applied for I-140 transfer in EB3 category in and a few weeks back it got approved. During the time they applied for the I-140 transfer they also applied for a new Labor in PERM in EB2 categoryand PERM labor also got approved within 2 weeks.
So, in today's date I have 2 approved Labor
I-140 - Prority Date August 2003
PERM EB2 LC Approved - Priorty Date August 2006
Now, I do understand that the priroty dates are not current for either cases mentioned above, I wanted to discuss with you the following :-
1. Prority dates of EB3 case can be transfered to EB2 ?
2. Can my employer file for I-140 for approved PERM of EB2 category now?
3. If 2. can be done then can I have 2 approved I-140 and wait for the priority dates to be current and use the one which is faster?
4. What If I change my employer now. Can I use the priority dates of the approved I-140 with the new employer if they apply for my labor and it gets approved?
5. What'll be the fastest way/short cut to apply for I-485 as per today's dates as the priority dates don't move fast enough.
Looking forward to hear from ANYONE who can give some insight on the above situation.
