I had started my green card in June 2003. My labor certification for green card was filed in June 2003. It was approved in June 2006. In 2006 my company filed my I-140. It was in premium and got approved in a week. However the priority date on approved I-140 was incorrect and was missed my me as well as my lawyer. Two years ago I moved to a new company. Since next month the date is current I called my attorney and she said my priority date was mistyped at the time of filing and it is seven years now. Does anyone know how this can be rectified.
Does anyone know if there is any process to rectify this? Does anyone have a good immigration lawyer that can help me with this. Can I initiate the process or my past employer has to do this for me?
