I-140 Copy for EAD Renewal

Hi ,
I was going through EAD renewal posts & many of them say I need I -140 copy. I renewed my EAD in Jun 03 by mail without sending I-140 copy.
Has anything changed since then ?

The posts claim that the I-140 Approval Notice is required by certain district offices only for issuing the interim EAD (iEAD) when people go there and apply in person.

I-140 copy is not required to enclose for EAD renewal .But Philly office need the copy of i-140 approval for I-EAD Not sure for other offices.

Recently I have seen RFE for EAD and AP renewal requesting I-140 copy or color Photo Id. so better submit I-140 copy.

Also submit recent pay stub and employment letter. Sometimes it might trigger Gc approval.
