Hi Guys/Gals,

Here are my GC details .

EB-2.
I - 140 RD: June 24th, 2002
Concurrent Filing I-485/with I-140 receipt in September 2002
Got my EAD in October, 2002
Also did my Fingerprinting in November, 2002.
Now waiting for my I-140's fate for almost 300 days????

I cant help but notice that I have not seen a single person's I-140 with receipted date (in June 2002) getting approval/denial in this forum, whereas I can see approvals/denials for all months before June 2002 and after June 2002 (in the EB2 category) .

Is there a conspiracy going on for the month of June 2002 !!! Have they lost the whole bunch at INS Vermont Center?

I would like and request fellow members with I-140 (EB-2) receipted date for the Month of June 2002 to mention about their situation in this thread.

Thanks All and Good Luck.

You are Right

My Receipt date is in J une, EB2. Got my EAD/AP for me and my wife in August, FP done in Oct.

Strangely even patiently went through 100 applications either way with my EAc no. EAC02209........ and found to my surprise that all the June applications have no approvals or any thing. I dont know what is going on. May be all our applications are lost or went for a special srutiny.

Please all the June applicants, tell us your experience.

June applicant

I-140 RD: June 11th 2002 (My 30th birthday!!!)... Pending.

I spoke to a IIO 2 weeks ago and she was not helpful. She says that she will talk about my case only to my employer or attorney.
All she said was they were processing April applications (i think she is talking about EB1 cases); was not ready to listen to my queries.....

Similar Experience

I spoke to IIO and she didn't know the classifications and they just take the latest EB category and tell they are doing the April cases. The immigration website says they are doing July cases.

What a Irony, not able to explain the frustration with these INS people.

got a clue

My boss called the INS to ask about my application yesterday. The delay of my June case is because mine is filed concurrently. I have my 140 filed in June and 485 filed Oct 02. Those are still considered as concurent( 3 months seperate). This doesn't make sense since lot's of ppl filed concurrently did get approved. Somehow, they are against June case since that's when the law changes (concurrent file is premitted).

So, I think if you files 140, wait about 4-6 months to file concurent 485; thus, they will look at your case and assume you have wait long enough for 140. I saw my co-worker got approval because his filing of 485 was much later after his 140 being submitted( after 5 months filing 140).

I think there has been a "bias" towards June concurrent filers in VSC which is not based on any "written" law. I understand they try to defend themselves, but they are not doing it in the right way. Those INS ppl just have no idea what they have been doing to ppl's life.

My boss submitted a complaint through local congressman. We'll see how it goes. I don't know if this will help me or make my case worse, but that's what my boss suggests.

..have no idea what they have been doing to ppl's life.

That is absolutely true. When I contacted these guys after 180 days of filing I-140 (my petition says the processing period as 90-110 days) through the congressman, i was told that i can change companies - without approval of I-140 , since i have filed the applns. concurrently (actually i filed 485 , 3 months after filing i-140). If i take that IIO's advice, what is the gurantee that another IIO won't question that at a later stage. It is pretty obvious that they are not following any order.... I know a June applicant got his 140 approval, when he made SOME SPECIAL REPRESENTATION. I heard that the congressmens office and Senator's office are flooded with expedition requests and they are not taking them seriously - giving importance to few cases. I was told by the Sr's office to be Patient. I am sick of these events...... Anyways, Goodluck MM110!

Snowbell, I remember u did mention that before in other chat thread. do u finally get your approval yet? Do u change job?

I saw some ppl filed on Oct 02 concurrent with 140 and 485 and already got approval. I wish that I can prove out that they are being so"biased", but I really don't know how!I know congressman will not be able to help me, but I just want to point out how this whole processed has been incorrectly done.

Got nothing for June, 24 RD

yankee402 ,

My I-140 RD is same as yours(EB2, concurrent filing) and got nothing at all. If MM100 is right, then we got a big trouble.
