I-140 , Cisco Certification expired

The company where I am working is filing my petition under EB2 and application for labor certification on my behalf has been approved and received the certified 9089 form from the Department of Labor.

However, lawyer stated that PERM application specifically states that my position requires a “current Cisco CCNP certification” as a result I need to obtain a CCNP certificate and they will submit this Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certificate to the USCIS as part of the I-140 application . The approved PERM application expires on October 2009 and we must file the I-140 petition before then. Therefore, please obtain a new certificate as soon as possible.

When I joined this company in November 2007, my CCNP certification was valid through Jan 11 2009. Most of the Cisco certifications are valid only for 3 years. It is difficult to renew the Cisco CCNP certification within next 2 months as I have to complete 5 exams within next 2 months.

I have 17 Yr experience in my field.

Please advice and suggest what are my options.

Many thanks in advance.
