Gurus, please help me.

I'm currently with employer A working as a consultant for employer B. I am planning to change to employer C who is sponsoring my green card. The labor petition is approved. But employer C is asking me to be on the pay roll and can apply for I-140/485 stages after 2-3 months for solid paper work. But I might get an offer from employer B. What do you think I should do? Can I continue with employer C and start the paper work and then transfer it. What exactly I should do...please help me ASAP.

Thanks.

an advise.

U have 2 options,

1) U can either join company C completely and have u r I 140 and I485 started by company C.
2) U can wait until u get u r offer from company B and in mean while u can have Company C start u r 140/485 Process.

U really dont need to be on payroll for filing I 140 and I 485.

Good Luck.

Thank you. But I'm might get an offer (including the paper work) from Company B in a couple of days. In that case, what is the best option for me.

I would say..its better to be with the company which filed I 140/485 ,
ie Company C.

but y do they need 2-3 months to do the paperwork ?
