I-140 change from consular to AOS

I have an I-140 filed since Nov '02 for consular processing. Now I want to file I-485 and switch to AOS. What is the process to notify the BCIS to modify my selection for the I-140?

it is not complicated..

In my case, the attorney attached a letter while filing the 485/AOS, stating that originally we filed for CP and now we are opting for AOS option..... Check with your attorney....
I didn't have any prob. in getting the 485 receipts, EAD / AP because of this....

:) I Thought it would be simple. Since I am preparing my own submision (saving some $$$), could you point me to an example of such a cover letter requesting the change in processing location?

Haven't seen the letter............

I am working for a FU*G 500 company which doesn't allow me to talk to the attorney. I have never spoken to them. But, i was told that a letter was filed.... They won't give it. I am not even sure whether they filed my case in EB2 or EB3 category. I am sorry i am unable to help you on this regard..
