I-140 case inquiry by an attorney

Folks,

My I-140 EB-2 is pending with USCIS (NSC) since Oct. 2003.

Is it worth paying $150.00 to my attorney so that she can send an inquiry letter to NSC about my case? Did anyone had luck with such an inquiry?

I know for sure that if I write to NSC myself, that letter will be "lost in the ocean"; however, I hope the letter from attorney should get a better treatment?

What are your views?
Thanks!

Dont waste $150, Give it to charity instead. That may bring u good luck. I dont think Lawyers shud charge that much just for an inquiry and that his letter will get any better response....

Check this out!

Just in case if it makes you feel better!

My Case is been pending since Feb 03, My lawyer already sent 3 enqiries with 30 days interval and no response. He again sent 4th enquiry on 10th and this time he was asked to wait for 60 days before another enquiry. You can raise enquiry only after the processing dates are 30 days past your ND.

Check my signature for more details.

I-140 No response from TSC to attorney's reminders

I have also not received any response from TSC to two status checks ordered through attorney for my I-140 filed in Feb2003. According to the TSC processing dates posted on Aug10th, TSC is supposed to be processing I-140 filed on July 01, 2003. May be TSC has a different calendar where February comes much later than July ;)
I had hoped my finger printing on 06/24/04 will trigger I-140 approval but even the status has not been updated. LUD remains in Feb2003 for both I-140 & 485
