Well here is the good news after sending RFE this monday!
I-140, EB1 OR got approved!
This morning I got the mail.

I am Research Associate, PhD Microbiology,
10 papers (all 1st author, impact factor 5-10),
15 published abstract,
submitted 7 letters from top scientist of my area with whom i have never worked (must say they all were unique and outstanding,
Reviewer for 10 scientific journals-Got letters from Editors about circulation& reason why they have selected me
5 awards of international nature: got letters from awarding authority

Still I got one line written on RFE letter
"Please provide us with the permanent job offer letter addressed to alien"
thats it!!!

filed for EB1-OR (MAY 2004) concurrent at NSC, Submitted letter from petitioner about permanent nature of my job.

I didn't get any update on I-485

Please suggest me with this query!

I need to go for conference at Europe in mid-july
I have H1B stamped.
I am sure that with I-140 approved I can go
But is by GOD grace I-485 get approved, Can I go?
I don't have AP....Shall I apply for one asap?
 
My 2 cents

As far as I am aware, you are good to go (and reenter) based on your H1-B stamp. Having an AP would obviously be the best thing. However, I doubt that you will have your AP before Mid-July even if you apply today.

Any ideas how much time is it taking for I-485 approval for concurrent cases at NSC?

Also....I beleive

1. you can go and come back after I-140 approval if your H1B is stamped.

2. I am not sure about after I-485 approval.....!!! May be honkman of others can help.

Some says your EAD become invalid after i-485 approval but you are not using EAD. Does your H1B also become invalid?? I am not sure!!!!

Honestly it will be toomuch of optimism if you expect I-485 approval in less than one month!!!! I may be wrong!!!
