I-140 approved!!!!!!!!!!

10 minutes ago, I received message from USCIS saying that my I-140 approved! Thank Lord! It has been 21 months for my I-140 approval. My I-140 was filed concurrently with I-485 on May 19 2003. On Jan.27, 2005, I received a RFE for I-140. It was education evaluation. I replied RFE on Feb.23 and got approved today. Thank you everyone in this forum, it is the best available. Now I am 1 step closer to my dream. :)

Wonderful to know that you got your approval in 8 days after you sent your RFE reply.

I have an RFE(qualification & ability to pay) and I sent it today.

EB2/RIR
I140/I485 filed 03/17/04
FP done 02/28/05
RFE recd 02/25/05 and mailed to lawyer 03/04/05
 
I-485 approved too!

I-485s for me, my wife and my son were approved this morning! WOW!! I am free finally!

Congratulations on your well deserved freedom. From the look of things TSC is approving 485s very soon after 140s for people who have current PDs and who filed in 03. This gives me some hope. My 140 has been delayed for the longest time and they might approve 140 and 485 very close to eachother in the coming months.

My PD is Oct.17, 2001. EB-3. I did not make any inquires after replying the RFE on I-140 (education evaluation for B.S.). As I said in the previous post, my RFE was only replied on Feb.22, 2005. But before all this, I did contacted senators offices in my state last year, and the congress liaison at TSC told them that since my I-140/485 were filed together, they must be processed together, which was true. They said that they could not process my I-140 until my I-485 was ready. We did two fingerprints, the first one was in August 2003, and the second one was in Decemeber 2004. In Jan.2005, I received an email from FBI saying that the name check for me was finished. Then I began to see the LUD changing on my I-485. It changed continuously for several days in Jan.2005, then stopped. After about 3 weeks, I received a RFE on my I-140, and I replied it on Feb.22, 2005. I-140 approval was received on 3/3/05, and I-485 approval was received on 3/4/05 through emails. :)

well mine was filed concurrent 2/3/4 but now they have stopped the concurrent processing , so i sent inquiry but still no 140 approvol , so dont know if should ask local senator
 
140 Rfe

Hi ,

I just found from Immigrationportal that u had also RFE. I just got fax from my lawer that I got RFE about education evaluation. I want to know from where did you evaluated & what type you evaluation you did?

I mean I checked WES.ord they have three different evaluation.
