got the magic email now- my 1-140 has been approved -- even before i go to the temple to say thanks to the good lord - i'm writing to this forum - this forum has been of immense help to me so far!!

485 RFE issued on Nov 12 (but the RFE said I-140 Ability to Pay)
RFE response received by USCIS on Dec 21
140 AD: 01/07/05
485 AD: waiting..

Congratulations !

Did you notice any LUD movement after Dec 21 ( Received date) and status update ?
 
lc2003 - i saw LUD update on I-485 on Dec 21, Dec 23, Dec 27 but nothing on I-140 (LUD on this before today was 09/26/2003)
 
Wow!! Its really good news for all. I was looking for at least one approval this week.
ha!! Finally they approved it to a right person..

This approval is based on RFE issued last year - probably they are still slowly going through RFE response backlog. I'm waiting for any new approval.

But even this is better than nothing.
