Guys,
I got my I-140 approved today. Today we saw lots of I-140 approvals which is pretty good.
But do not really know how the USCIS is doing for those cases, whose I-140 is approved and who have done their fingerprinting.
If the retrogression rule applies, then, I do not know we might have to wait for 1 or 2 years more before 1-485 is adjucated :( . (I hope this would not be the case and we all get I-485 approval within one-two weeks ;) ).

Anybody who got recent I-140 approval,please let us know as it is very important to track this with the I-485 approvals.

I also had a question. How would I know whether my cases is EB-2 or EB-3.
It was substitute labor but, I guess even for EB-2 you can substitute labor.

Congratulations.
You can find the EB category in you 140 receipt.
If it says Advanced Degree, then it is EB2.

I see that you had filed under EB-2. Did you use Substitute Labor or was it Advanced Category.
I have a Masters with 3 years experience and I had filed Labor-RIR.
Is it same as EB-2 category.

Also do you have any information if retrogression will affect EB-2 category as well.

It depend on the Job requirement. I have BS with 8 years of job experience. So I filled in EB2 under RIR as per the company requirement I fit into EB2 category. No EB2 had no effect as per today, only EB3 is effected, there is some posting on the some site, I don't remember now.

Well... some cases are created by CIS for whining, right ?

I have applied for my I-140 in Dec-2003 and still waiting. My priority date is 2003-March. Is it the reason why my I-140 still pending ? If retrogression has already taken affect, then it looks like even I-140 approvals are based on priority date. Does this sound true ?

I did my FP on 11/6/04. FBI confirmed that on 11/6, the results were sent to service center.
No change in LUD for 485.
EB3, RIR, TSC, PD: SEP 2001
140 - RD: 12/12/03, LUD: 11/2/04
485 - RD: 12/31/03, NO LUD
EAD 1, AP1 - AD: 02/24/04
EAD 2, AP2 - RD: 12/6/04, LUD: 12/13/04 after sending the documents and the digital phots /FP.

I wonder what is going on. Even after 1 year of 140, no news.

Is TSC working at all ??

If your PD is Sep-2001, you should be all set with both I-140 and I-485 very soon. Our cases may be with a slow processer (officer). As for as complexicity of my case goes, my experience, company, degree etc. is more than the requirements needed unless that is a problem.

Let's wait and see!
