I-140 Approved..... Weired Message

Hi,

On 04/20/05, my attorny spoke to INS folks and initiated an inquiry on my I-140.

On the same day evening I got a magical email from USCIS saying that my I-140 got approved.
I thought it was because of my attorny'inquiry and called him and appreciated his help.

After one week ......... I got another mail, which is saying ...

"Application Type: I140 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER

Current Status:

On April 27, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

But My attorny got the approval notice and I have no
clue how they update my I-140 message and am kind of DILEMMA... whether my I-140 got cleared or not.

Please let me know if anyone of you in same situation.

TSCUS,

If your lawyer has the approval notice then your case has been approved. Do not pay attention to the online message. That is probably a standard response to an inquiry.
