I-140 Approved then company sold.

Has anyone ever been through the situation where they were approved or in the process of their I-140 and then the company they worked for was sold? I was originally told that it would just be a matter of filing an ammendment, but now I am being told that I must do my I-140 over again from the start. (It was approved the day after the sale of the company was finalized). If I do have to start again, is there any kind of expedited process since I\'ve already passed the checks once? (I don\'t imagine there is as that would make too much sense). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think u need to start over I-140

After filing my I-140, one of our HR person told our company name changed & merged with another company. Then I asked my lawyer he told if the company merged or sold with liabilities & assets or change in tax id you need to refile I-140 (whatever may be your stage i.e I-140, CP or 485 ). If just only name change then you don\'t need, just you have to file name change amendment. Then when I contacted my CEO in-charge person apparently its only company name change but no change in tax id. As long as company tax id remains same no problem.

After I - 140, company moved from NSC to VSC region

Hi,
I have a question, After I applied my I-140, my company moved from Nebraska Region to Vermont Region. The company name is same, tax id is the same, everything same, but the region is different. They closed the office in the address where I filed my I-140 and they moved to Vermont Service Region with the same name. Is my approved labor will be a waste? I am one month after in I-140 stage. Please guid me what do I need in this situation?

Do I must work at least 180 days for the company filing i140 for me?

I heard I have to work at least 180 days for the company filing i-140, i-485 for me? It that true? or I can work for the company after I get my GC. How immigration verify I work for the company more than 180 days?
