Thank you Satish. Hope that 485 processing time will also come down to half, as it happened with 140. When I filed 140 the processing date was exactly with 1 year backlog.

Hope your words will come true...

I-140/I-485 Receipt Number. GURUS !! pls help.

I need some clarification ...

1. Can you please tell whether the receipt number for I-140 and I-485 filing will be different ?

2. I recently got my I-14o receipt number but so far did not get a receipt number for I-485 filing. But unable to decide whether my case was filed concurrently or not.

1)You will get seperate numbers for 140, and 485.
2)If you send the 485 before approving the 140 it will be considered as Concurrent.
