Just today I came to know that my I-140 had been approved for Consular processing and not for AOS. However my lawyers filed for AOS.
Please can somebody tell me if INS could object to this. I am suddenly very worried if I have violated some kind of clause.
I havent receieved my approval till now.
Spoke to IIO recently and they told me that they were trying to link my I140 to I148
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
