Just got email from USCIS, also online status updated. No previous LUD change on I-140. Here's the detail:
I-140/I-485/EAD: RD 02/27/2004
EB3, not Labor Substitute
EAD AD: 07/01/2004
No AP applied.
I have BS and MS in computer, company has 350+ employees, so my case should be "straight forward" enough. However, my co-worker filed at around the same time as mine got his approvals (EAD/I-140) much sooner (40 days sooner for EAD) than I do. So there does seems to be a "batch" phenomenon. If you're not in the luckiest batch, stay patient.
Another factor, I add my wife's I-485 apps later in May as follow-up concurrent. This could possibly cause some delay in my cases. Just a guess. If you have the option not to "disturb" the pending cases, I'd suggest wait until I-140 gets approval. Nobody knows exactly what's going on at USCIS, just a cautious thought.
Thanks all in the forum. It's not only informative, but also quite supportive emotionally. I'd like to share the news and best wishes to all those still waiting.
